AVA and CIEE (the open campus college study abroad program) took part in the Berlin reads (Berlin liest) campaign on Sunday, September 2. On this day, all Berliners were invited to join the international literature festival berlin by reading aloud from a work of their choice in a place of their choice. In our case, AVA and CIEE chose to read selections of English-language nature writing at CIEE, Gneisenaustr. 27 in Kreuzberg.
The program began with an introduction by Isabel Fargo Cole, followed by the readings, and discussion in English.
